Nånu Dångkulu yan Nånu Dikkike' by: Norbert Perez

Nånu Dångkulu and Nånu Dikkike' are out in the woods this morning performing their daily chores. They are tasked with picking leaves and roots for their mother's secret potions and medicines, Makåhna Chunge'...the village doctor.

Nånu Dångkulu: Yayas yu' (I am tired!) He cried out as he slumbered down on a log beside the passage.

Nånu Dikkike: Guåo lokkue' (Me too!) He retorted as he made himself comfortable on a grassy area beside his brother.

Nånu Dångkulu: Ai na minanenghing I manglo guini. (The breeze is cool here) He remarked.

Nånu Dikkike: Magåhet håo ga'chong. (You are so right, my friend)

Nånu Dångkulu: Fana'an månglo' tåsi esti. (I believe this is a sea breeze)

Nånu Dikkike: Hu'u lai. (Yep!) Gof manenghing che'lu (Very cool, brother!)

Nånu Dångkulu: Håfa esti? (What is this?) He declared as he picked up a shiny stone. He held the stone up high and began inspecting it.

Nånu Dikkike: Håfa enåo? What is that? His brother asked, coming close to his side.

Nånu Dångkulu: Ai na linamlam. (Man is it shiny.)

Nånu Dikkike: Maila' fan ya ta li'e'? (Give it here and let me see) Reaching out to his brother.

Nånu Dångkulu: Måolek dinangkulo-ña esti na åcho' låmlam, (It is fairly large size diamond.)

Nånu Dikkike: Estague' un åcho' mågi. (Here is one more stone) His brother said as he reached out beside a huge rock.

Nånu Dikkike: Mungnga che'lu. Ilekña si nåna na båba esti siha na åcho'. (No, brother! Mother said these stones are bad.)

Nånu Dångkulu Magåhet? (Is that right?):
